Signs it has gone bad

  • Slimy or mushy texture
  • Sour smell
  • Mold or fuzzy spots

No signs doesn't mean safe. Food-poisoning bacteria usually don't change smell or look, so go by time.

How to store it

  1. Remove foil from baked potatoes before storing. Foil-wrapped potatoes left warm can support botulism.
  2. Cool roasted vegetables uncovered for a few minutes, then cover and refrigerate within 2 hours.
  3. Reheat until steaming hot throughout.
